Gran Hotel, Shingu

The hotel is in a great location, within a short walk to the shopping mall. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is good, but unfortunately, the lack of staff attention leads to cleanliness issues. It's single rooms without air conditioning, which can be uncomfortable in warmer weather.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the hotel. The rooms, despite a minor cleanliness issue under the bed, were well-equipped and came at a very competitive price that included a delicious complimentary breakfast. The service was friendly and supportive, although there were some language barriers. The location, while not near evening activities, was made convenient by the free bike service provided. The dining experience was nice, especially the seafood options. Overall, a great value for money stay.
